This video artwork distills the core philosophical, ecological, and aesthetic principles of the Manifesto Terricola into a powerful visual and conceptual experience. Created in collaboration with artificial intelligence and grounded in posthuman theory, the piece explores the intersection between technology, environmental memory, and human consciousness.
Combining fragments of the manifesto’s text with digitally generated imagery, 3D reconstructions, and symbolic gestures, the video narrates the journey of the manifesto—from its writing in Svalbard, to its encoding into DNA, to its physical burial in a melting glacier inside a bioprinted human ear. Each sequence unfolds like a chapter in a speculative future, where art becomes a vehicle for environmental preservation and cognitive awakening.
The voiceover and visual rhythms create a contemplative flow, inviting the viewer to reflect on the role of art as a living archive—one that not only records but also transforms the world. The Manifesto Terricola speaks of art as planetary code, as a tool to reconnect species, and as an act of resistance against ecological collapse and cultural amnesia
